My current research is a joint project with Scott N. Walck (physics) and student research assistants in the area of quantum information theory. My thesis work, under the direction of Shrawan Kumar, was in algebraic topology of Lie Groups.
My pedagogical scholarship centers around a long-standing interest in the use of visualization, particulary with animation, for teaching mathematical concepts.
I am a regular participant in the Tetrahedral Geometry-Topology Seminar, of which Lebanon Valley College is a joint sponsor with Millersville University, Elizabethtown College, and Franklin and Marshall College. I am the organizer for our Mathematical Physics Research Group Seminar here at LVC.
